About Benchmark Tax Appeals

Benchmark Tax Appeals is a division of Benchmark Commercial properties, Inc. Founded in 1992 by owner and principal Broker Joseph Cox. For almost twenty years Mr. Cox and his staff have provided commercial sales, leasing and property tax appeal services to clients throughout Maryland and Delaware. Over that time they have successfully completed hundreds of transactions and saved clients thousands and thousands of tax dollars.

Mr. Cox has a business degree from Washington & Lee University and is a lifelong resident of Baltimore County. In addition to his business activities, Mr. Cox has been a long time youth soccer and lacrosse coach and is now a women’s lacrosse referee. Mr. Cox is the current president of one of the oldest and largest civic organizations in Baltimore.
